WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable and high-performance backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Django
• Utilize Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and data scientists, to define and implement solutions
• Participate in the design, development, and optimization of our core systems
• Work on performance tuning and API optimizations
• Build and maintain data pipelines for real-time analytics
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, code reviews, and team collaboration

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must-have qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience with Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Django
• Strong expertise in working with Pandas for data manipulation and analytics
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience with in-memory data stores such as Redis
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good software/solutions architecture skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills

Good-to-have qualifications:

• Familiarity with Apollo Server
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or React Native
• Investment or finance domain knowledge
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with APM tools such as Datadog or similar
