Specific-Group Software Solutions develops custom software solutions for corporate clients in Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and USA. For doing this we have sales and service divisions in the local markets and development centers in Belarus (Minsk and Grodno).

Currently we are seeking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing team located in Minsk.

You will have a unique opportunity to act as innovator in DevOps space to make sure that build and delivery mechanisms are reliable, transparent, scalable and transportable.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, automate and maintain the software build and delivery process, using CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, OpenShift and Gradle
  • Define, implement and maintain application configuration for the Spring and JavaEE technology stack (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, WildFly, Tomcat, Keycloak, etc.)
  • Be responsible for configuration and maintenance of the OpenShift cluster and its components (Gluster, Docker Registry, Nginx, etc)
  • Work closely with the developers to maintain the development infrastructure components (GitLab, SonarCube, Artifactory, etc)
  • Participate in projects and release activities
  • Provide 3rd level support for application infrastructure
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams responsible for infrastructure, release management and database administration
  • Support and work with the development team through the technical challenges of Cloud transformation
  • Proactively identify and drive automation of tasks associated with end-to-end deployment delivery
  • Consulted for input on project estimation
  • Drive the end-to-end stability & availability of tools & environments by supporting build and deployment requests

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in IT (5+ years)
  • 3+ years in developing and automating cloud solutions directly related to setting up and configuring Container Platform and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery incl. infrastructure automation
  • Expert knowledge of private, public and hybrid cloud architecture, networking, workload types, migration patterns and tools
  • Experience with enterprise-wide deployments using Linux, Docker, Git, SystAdmin / IT-Ops, Build-Pipelines and CI/CD Tooling (Jenkins, Gradle, etc)
  • Knowledge of Shell scripting, the Java Technology Stack and basic DB administration
  • Basic experience with OpenShift, Spring, WildFly, RHSSO/OAuth would be a plus
  • Professional commitment to quality, detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Adaptability and ability to work in a cross-functional distributed team
  • Proactive position is a ‘must-have’
