Kyriba is looking for a professional System Administrator who wants to join our global Operations team, which is based in San Diego, Paris, and now Minsk. Our team is responsible for availability, performance, efficiency, monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response of Kyriba’s applications on production, development and test environments.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Monitoring, alerting, incident response.
Upgrade and configure software, deploy patches on a regular basis.
Investigate, troubleshoot, determine the root cause of system and application issues
Research, recommend and develop innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures and documentation.
Assist in performing ongoing performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource optimization as required.
Participate in day and night shifts
Coordinate and communicate with operations and development teams
Experience supporting applications and systems in a production environment.
Proficiency with Linux-Unix system and/or Microsoft Windows Server administration, installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup, recovery and client support.
Proficiency with VMWare virtual machines configuration and management.
Experience and proficiency with one or more Cloud technologies such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Spacewalk, etc.
Knowledge of scripting languages and experience with task automation
Availability for rotational on-call and weekend support
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
English - Intermediate.
experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
experience with Oracle RDBMS
experience with java application support
Knowledge of ITIL Framework principles
